Two Versions. One Framework. Built for Your Role.

The TrustED® training is available for two distinct audiences. Select the version that fits your role, the eight sessions and framework content below apply to both.

TrustED® School Leader Training

TrustED® Teacher Training

A research-informed professional development experience that identifies the organizational and relational trust factors school leaders need to build healthy, strong relationships with all school stakeholders

Heads of school, principals, assistant principals, curriculum directors, board members, and administrators who supervise others.

The same research-informed framework applied to the classroom, identifying the organizational and relational trust factors teachers need to build healthy, strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

THE TrustED® TRAINING SERIES

Eight Sessions. One Complete Framework.

Every training session is research-backed and adapted to your school's specific context and priorities. Every training features custom session sequencing based on the TrustED® assessment tools. Every training session results in well-defined goals and action plans that are immediately implemented.

THE COMPLETE SESSION LIST

Foundations session,  ideal standalone or series opener

Participants will receive:

  1. A clear understanding of why trust is the foundation of sustainable school improvement, including how trusted leadership influences culture, performance, morale, and student outcomes.

  2. A practical framework for evaluating the current level of trust in their school or organization, helping leaders identify strengths, gaps, and priority areas for growth.

  3. A renewed leadership lens for decision-making, showing how trust-building behaviors can strengthen credibility, influence, and long-term school success.

Component 1 of 6 · The Foundation:

Participants will receive:

  1. A guided process for identifying the core beliefs and values that shape their leadership, including how those beliefs are experienced by staff, students, and families.

  2. Tools for aligning personal leadership convictions with schoolwide mission, vision, and culture, helping leaders move from stated values to lived values.

  3. A values-based leadership reflection activity that participants can use individually or with their leadership teams to strengthen clarity, consistency, and trust.

Component 2 of 6 · The Substructure

Participants will receive:

  1. Practical strategies for building authentic connection with faculty, staff, students, and families, especially through presence, listening, and relational consistency.

  2. A framework for providing meaningful support that increases confidence and commitment, rather than creating dependence or compliance.

  3. Actionable communication and relationship-building practices that leaders can immediately use to strengthen belonging, morale, and trust.

Component 3 of 6 · The Bearings

Participants will receive:

  1. A better understanding of how flexibility strengthens trust during change, challenge, and uncertainty, while still maintaining clear expectations.

  2. Practical ways to remain appropriately involved without micromanaging, helping leaders balance visibility, empowerment, and accountability.

  3. A leadership self-check tool to evaluate whether their current leadership presence is experienced as accessible, supportive, and responsive.

Component 4 of 6 · The Girders

Participants will receive:

  1. A decision-making process for adapting leadership practices to the unique context of their school, rather than relying on one-size-fits-all solutions.

  2. Strategies for contextualizing initiatives, policies, and improvement efforts so they are more likely to be understood, accepted, and sustained.

  3. A practical planning template for applying TrustED principles to current school challenges, transitions, or improvement priorities.

Component 5 of 6 · The Superstructure

Participants will receive:

  1. A deeper understanding of the connection between trust, culture, and relationships, including how leadership behaviors either strengthen or weaken school climate.

  2. Tools for diagnosing cultural patterns within the school community, helping leaders identify relational strengths, toxic patterns, and opportunities for repair.

  3. Practical strategies for intentionally shaping a healthy, trust-rich culture through rituals, communication, recognition, accountability, and relational leadership.

Component 6 of 6 · The Deck

Participants will receive:

  1. Practical methods for increasing clarity in communication, expectations, systems, and decision-making, reducing confusion and frustration across the school.

  2. A framework for creating order without becoming rigid or overly controlling, helping leaders establish consistency while preserving professional judgment.

  3. Tools for auditing current school systems and leadership routines, allowing participants to identify where greater clarity and order would improve trust and effectiveness.

Restorative session,  for schools navigating trust challenges or transitions

Participants will receive:

  1. A process for identifying where trust has been damaged and why, including common causes such as inconsistency, poor communication, unresolved conflict, or perceived lack of care.

  2. Practical steps for repairing trust after leadership missteps, organizational conflict, or cultural breakdown, with emphasis on humility, transparency, follow-through, and relational restoration.

  3. A trust-rebuilding action plan participants can use to begin restoring credibility, strengthening relationships, and reestablishing confidence in leadership.
