Research consistently shows that trusted leadership is one of the most important indicators of success in organizations, businesses, schools, and classrooms.

In collaboration with SchoolRight, LLC, Dr. Toby A. Travis has developed self-assessment tools for organizational and business leaders, school leaders, and teachers who lead within their classrooms.

These assessments provide a personal scorecard based on the six components of trusted leadership outlined in the award-winning book TrustED®: The Bridge to School Improvement, available on Amazon.

The self-assessment is free and may be used and shared with others. We hope these tools provide meaningful insights and encouragement as you continue to develop trusted leadership in your context.

Please print or save your score page when it is provided. Once completed, the results from your self-assessment are not reported or stored in any other form.

The TrustED® Self-Assessments are based on a research-informed, practice-based framework for school and organizational improvement, focusing on developing skills and competencies that help leaders and educators build, maintain, and protect trusted relationships with all stakeholders.

Please note: These self-assessments are designed for personal reflection only. They do not provide qualitative or quantitative data regarding an individual’s actual level of trustworthiness or trust within an organization. To obtain reliable data to guide improvement and professional development, we recommend conducting the TrustED® School Leader 360, which surveys all school or organization employees and stakeholders.
